The Biak Numfor Police, through the Biak Kota Police, distributed the third stage of social assistance rice from the National Police Headquarters which was carried out symbolically at the residence of the Head of RT 06, Mr. Yahya Ronsumbre, Karang Mulia Biak Village, Friday (14/8/2020).
The event was attended by the Head of Regional Sumda, AKP M. Amiruddin, Kapolsek Biak Kota AKP Derek Leatimea, Head of Iptu Maryono Binmas, Head of Binmas Police, Biak City Police Iptu ML. Sarlata, KBO Sat Binmas Ipda Heksa Lamina, and residents of Karang Mulia sub-district.
Kapolres Biak Numfor AKBP Murjatmo Edi, SIK., SH, when confirmed, said that in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the National Police Headquarters again provided assistance in the form of 10 tons of rice to the Biak Numfor Police to be distributed to the community.
"This rice aid is the National Police's concern for the underprivileged in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic and to undergo New Habit Adaptations," said AKBP Murjatmo Edi.
He also added that for each district itself, the assistance was distributed through the police ranks gradually and each head of the household who had been recorded received 10 kg of rice.
"In distributing the rice package assistance, the Head of Police continued, it is hoped that the Head of Police will distribute the right target according to the data to help and ease the burden of life affected by Covid-19," concluded the Chief of Police.
