The activity carried out in the YPK Natabui elementary school classroom was delivered directly by the Head of the Forestry Service District. Kep. Yapen, Ottow Maker, S. Hut. which was also attended by the Secretary of the West Yapen District, Traditional Leaders, Community Leaders, Youth Leaders and residents of Natabui and Toweta.
On this occasion, the Head of the Forestry Service said that Papua's forests are the lungs of the world which are very important for the survival of living things on earth. If these lungs are damaged, then survival will be disrupted.
"The benefits of the forest are very meaningful for our survival, so there is a term that says that forests are sustainable then the community is prosperous. Therefore, it is our shared responsibility to protect and preserve the forest, "explained Ottow when giving information to residents.
