Strengthening relations in supporting electricity development in Papua, PLN held an audience at the Regional Office of the National Land Agency (BPN) of Papua Province. This hearing was a follow up to the PLN Central Office meeting with BPN that had been conducted previously.
The activity was attended by General Manager of PLN Papua and West Papua Regional Units, Abdul Farid along with General Manager of PLN Papua Development Main Unit, Reisal Rimtahi Hasoloan. PLN's visit was received directly by the Head of the Regional Office of BPN Papua Province, Jhon Wiklif Aufa.
The goal is that the continued development of electricity infrastructure in Indonesia can run well.
'' We ask for help and cooperation from all stakeholders in the Province of Papua and West Papua Province, especially BPN so that the electricity development in the Land of Papua can run smoothly. We hope that affairs in the field of land can be assisted, "said Farid to the Head of Regional Office of BPN Papua.
Abdul Farid also expressed his gratitude for the willingness of the Regional Office of the Papua Province BPN to accept PLN's visit. He hoped that the hearing could create good relations and work together to develop Papua, especially in the electricity sector.
It was stated, in the near future PLN Papua and BPN would sign a cooperation agreement in the field of Agrarian / Land and Spatial Planning. This is intended to help the process of electricity development in Papua become faster, more precise and equitable.
The Head of the Regional Office of the BPN Papua Province, Jhon Wiklif Aufa on the occasion also stated his willingness to be involved in the signing of the cooperation. This is considered positive and needs to be prepared so that it can run well.
"The signing of this cooperation is an effort to build a better synergy. This is also our step together to develop Papua, "said Jhon.
In Papua, PLN has always tried to improve the reliability of the electricity system. Reisal Rimtahi Hasoloan added that, various developments continued to be carried out both in terms of power plants, networks and substations. The said effort needs support from all parties including BPN.
