He was summoned as a witness in relation to the investigation into the alleged bribery and gratuity case that ensnared the Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe.
"We hope that the person concerned is cooperative because his information is needed in the intended process, so that it becomes clear and clear," said the Head of the KPK Reporting Section, Ali Fikri at the KPK's Red and White Building, South Jakarta, Tuesday (27/12/2022).
Ali reminded that every witness must fulfill the investigator's summons. So that the KPK can investigate the case in question. "It has been stated that a witness is obligated to attend, confirm, clarify, and his role is of course important when he is present before the KPK investigators in person," Ali explained.
He said Arsjad's statement was considered to be able to help the investigation of the case involving Lukas Enembe become clearer. Because of that, the KPK asked Arsjad to attend and convey the information needed by investigators.
"To be able to clarify, convey information and data, and even make it easier for the KPK investigation team to continue to dig up information from other witnesses, even then also the suspect himself," he said.
The KPK summoned Arsjad Rasjid to be examined as a witness regarding the investigation into the alleged corruption case that ensnared the Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe on Tuesday (13/12/2022). However, he was absent from the summons investigators.
