Graduated from California SVA, Odi Motivates Papuan Children to Achieve Dreams

Some time ago there was a lot of news about some of Indonesia's best sons and daughters who graduated from Harvard University. Like Nadhira (Master of Public Health), Andhika (Master of Law), then there is Jane Tjahjono from Harvard Kennedy School majoring in Public Policy.

Apparently, there is one Indonesian boy who graduated from the best and prestigious school in the United States. Is a young man from Biak, Papua, who successfully completed high school level education at Squaw Valley Academy (SVA), Harvard University. He was named Rainer Christmas Koibur.

Railah your dreams as high as the sky. The term is appropriate to describe Rainer. He recently completed his education at Squaw Valley Academy with achievements and became the best graduate on 5 June 2020.

The story of Odi graduating from Squaw Valley Academy from high school began with his achievements that began in the Happy Holly Kids Play Group in Yogyakarta, then moved to Shaining Stars Kindergarten-Elementary School in Timika. He attended secondary education at SMP North Jakarta International School (NJIS) and moved to America.

His passion and love for the country could not be doubted in him. Because, Odi grew up in a large Kopassus family. Odi is the eldest son of the Rev. Pairs. Samparisna Koibur and Dr. Rosaline Irene Rumaseuw.

"I am a child of Papua and I can. Indonesia must be able to become a prosperous country, so that the people prosper. So are my brothers and sisters in the Land of Papua. How do the events make it happen?

After graduating, Odi will continue her undergraduate studies at Berklee University, Boston. He believed that when I returned, it would help the Indonesian Government overcome several global challenges.

"My message to my brothers and sisters in Papua, let's achieve our dreams. We all can, many paths such as scholarships that can help. As long as there is intention, ability, and help with prayer, it will be a success," said Odi. He believed that his experience would later position him to contribute to the dynamic development of Indonesia in the future.
