Keep Kamtibmas TNI-Polri Hold Razia in Mimika |
Joint TNI-Polri officers conduct raids in the Mimika region, Papua, on Tuesday (7/4). This raid as a form of maintaining the security situation and community order (kamtibmas) remains conducive.
As for the four points targeted by the raids, namely, the road axis SP5 and SP6 Iwaka District, the Kuala Kencana intersection, Irrigation, and check point 28 or the direction to Kwamki Narama District.
From the raid the officers secured dozens of sharp weapons (sharp). As on the SP5 and SP 6 axle roads, the officer secures a machete.
While at the Kuala Kencana intersection the officers secured four machetes, one knife, one cardboard, four wayer arrows, one wayer thrower, one air rifle, one keris, two machetes, and one ax.
For raids at the Irrigation intersection, officers secured three machetes, one knife shaped like a bayonet, and one sickle. Whereas in check point 28 or direction of the Kwamki Narrama District, officers secured a machete, two knives, two bayonets, and one badik.
Mimika Police Chief, AKBP I Gusti Gde Era Adhinata said, in addition to raids, patrols with the TNI also continued. This is to keep the kamtibmas situation in Mimika conducive.
"The patrol and raids carried out by the joint military-police are also addressing the violence in Mimika Regency. Hopefully with this activity, Mimika will remain conducive, "said the police chief.
