During the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Construction of the Houses of the Banjir Bandang Setani Victims continued

The Regional Secretary of Jayapura Regency, Papua, Hanna Hikoyabi said, although the current situation was still in the atmosphere of the COVID-19 pandemic, the progress of the construction and work of 300 housing units for the victims of the flash floods in Sentani continued.

"Indeed, it is still in the atmosphere of a COVID-19 pandemic but the work of 300 housing units for flash flood victims for Kemiri residents is still being carried out," Hanna Hikoyabi told reporters in Sentani, Wednesday (6/24).

He said that currently there were 180 housing units that had been worked out of a total of 300 planned at the location behind the Jayapura regent's office.

It's just that the remaining 120 housing units that have not been worked on are still hampered by the atmosphere of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We are still waiting for 120 more houses that have not been worked on last Sunday, they promised to wait another month because of this situation," said Hanna.

Besides that, the local government, he continued, is also preparing to install clean water connections to the housing complex, including electricity lighting facilities and facilities which are currently being worked on for work.

Then another facility that is built is the drainage channel both on the main road and on the neighborhood road in the housing complex.
