| TNI and Neukenjerai Health Center Hold Posyandu Activities |
RI-PNG Satgas Task Force Battalion 125 / Si'mbisa can work together with the Naukenjerai Health Center to hold an Integrated Health Service Post (Posyandu) in Kondo Village, Naukenjerai District, Merauke Regency, Wednesday (06/24/2020).
During the activity, RI-PNG Dansatgas Pamtas 125 / Si'mbisa, Lt. Col. Inf Anjuanda Pardosi revealed, the Posyandu activities were carried out by seven Kondo Pos personnel led directly by Danpos Lt. Inf Purwanta in collaboration with health workers from the Neukenjerai Health Center.
"It is an honor for us from the task force to work together with health workers in this border region," said Dansatgas.
"We must work together and support each other in providing the best service to the community," he continued.
Beni, one of the nurses working at the Neukenjerai Community Health Center, explained that the Posyandu's target activity this time was more focused on pregnant women and children under five.
"This aims to examine the development of the child and the fetus as well as an effort to detect the possibility of early symptoms of the disease suffered," he explained.
In addition, his party also distributed vitamins, milk and polio vaccination and provided counseling for children on how to wash hands properly and cleanly.
After the activity, Beni represented the Puskesmas medical officer to express his gratitude to the TNI who helped, so that the implementation of the Posyandu activities could go well.
