He asked that the actions taken should not give wrong political education to the public. So, everything should be allowed to proceed according to the legal process.
"Let's not educate the public with the wrong education regarding the process that the KPK is currently carrying out with Papua Governor Lukas Enembe.
Let the process continue. If he is innocent, it can be proven through law. If he is guilty, it will also be proven before the law," said Rev. Suebu.
He emphasized that all parties should stick to the principles of truth, namely by letting the law prove it.
"As we experienced in Papua, there are our parents, brothers, sisters or our leaders like Barnabas Suebu, Jhon Ibo, they go through the legal process. Because the law has important values. When people accuse us, The law can say it's not true if we really don't implement it," he said.
So in the case of Regent Ham Pagawak and Governor Lukas Enembe, Pdt. Suebu asked the public to respect the process.
"Please have a process we try and hope that the KPK and our law enforcers really carry out a fair process, and not a process that as we say there is criminalization. We want to see the reality," said Pdt. Suebu.
Continued, the law is also able to educate well, if guilty, then Rev. Suebu asked to be responsible for the wrong act so that it did not become a boomerang in the midst of many people because of the emotions of doing demonstrations.
"Everyone who does work in certain positions must be held accountable if he is guilty, for example corruption. If it is a gentleman, then he must follow the legal process. That way it will educate us so that in the future we don't get involved like that because we have experienced it," he continued.
He advised all parties to uphold the law in the Republic of Indonesia, so that the whole process goes well. He also invited all parties to maintain security and order in Papua.
"To all fellow activists, all community leaders, church leaders and even all leaders in this land, let us maintain security and order in this land. Continue to pray for the security and welfare of the land of Papua so that God helps all processes that may run, may take place , "said Pdt. Suebu.
Rev. Suebu also appealed to the entire community, that the Tabi Land is a respected Customary Land, so don't make noise in this Customary Land.
"This Tabi land is a stage for the traditionalists. All cases are discussed, all those who are wrong are punished, all who are innocent are given praise. In Tabi's land we are respected . the whole process goes as it is and we don't have to scapegoat anyone but we pray that this process will run honestly, well, fairly. There are no other interests. We urge you not to make haduh in this Tabi Land," he appealed.
At this opportunity, Rev. Suebu also hopes that Papuan Governor Lukas Enembe will be given the strength to deal with this process. Including hoping for a good legal process carried out by the KPK and other law enforcers.
"There is a leader, getting the governorship and being accused of this, let's be held accountable. After we are held accountable, whether right or wrong, the important thing is that we have done it. We will be strong. To the KPK, the police, law enforcement, please do the process professionally and well," said Pdt. Suebu.
