The Regent of the Yapen Islands Regency, Tonny Tesar, inaugurated the Kawipi Village Hall in the Ambai Islands District, Monday, January 31, 2022.
The village hall which was built in 2020-2021 spent a budget of Rp 200 million. On that occasion, Tonny Tesar appreciated the construction of the Kawipi Village Hall.
"It turns out that the new village hall here also has clean water running smoothly, hopefully it can be useful for village officials with the new village hall," said Tonny Tesar to the community.
Tony advised the community to guard the Kawipi Village Hall. He hoped that there would be no impoverishment actions against the Village Hall.
"Please take care, all here brothers, all here have an obligation to guard. This is one form of development that also supports the smooth running of activities in this village,” said Tonny.
In addition to inaugurating the Kawipi Village Hall, Tonny Tesar also inaugurated the bridge which was built using village funds. The inauguration was witnessed by the Chairperson of the Yapen Islands DPRD and the Head of the Yapen Islands People's Welfare Division.
