KPK Searched Houses and Two Contractors' Offices in Jayapura Regarding Governor Enembe's Case

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to collect evidence and continues its investigation into the bribery and gratification case with the suspect Papua Governor Lukas Enembe.

After investigating Governor Enembe at his private residence in Koya Tengah, the KPK also searched private homes and offices in Jayapura City.
 
"The KPK investigation team has also completed searching three locations in Jayapura City, namely the residence of the party related to the case and two private company offices," said KPK spokesman Ali Fikri in a written statement received by Fajarpapua.com, Saturday (5/11).
 
During the search, the KPK team confiscated various documents and electronic evidence which were suspected to have links with proving the corruption case that ensnared Governor Enembe.

"The evidence will be the completeness of the case file by first being analyzed and confiscated," said Ali Fikri.

Firli Called Commission III

As a result of meeting Governor Enembe, Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri will be summoned by Commission III of the DPR RI.
 
"Later, at the RDP (hearing meeting) of Commission III with the KPK, we will ask about this," said member of Commission III of the DPR's United Development Party (PPP) faction Arsul Sani to reporters, Saturday (5/11).

Arsul considered that Firli's move to lead his team of investigators to Luke's residence to examine the person concerned did not violate the law.

This is considering that Lukas has also claimed that he is sick, so it is necessary to bring in a team of doctors from abroad for treatment.
 
However, Arsul understands about the criticism that has surfaced in the public regarding the steps taken by Firli.

For this reason, he stressed that Firli needed to explain further to the public on her move.

"Because of that, in my opinion, the KPK chairman needs to explain to the public why he needs to come to Luke Enembe's place, even though no legal rules have been violated," said Arsul.
