Deni Awom (Fanindi Dalam Youth Leader) of Manokwari Regency assessed that the sustainability of Special Autonomy Volume II in Papua has a very positive impact on the progress and welfare of the indigenous Papuan people.
"The implementation of Otsus has had a very good impact on the Papuan people, especially in improving various fields so that people can enjoy all the facilities as they are now," he said when met by the media crew, Monday (2/8).
According to him, the ratification of the Special Autonomy Law Volume II is a new beginning for the Papuan people to get better welfare in the future. "The continuation of Otsus will have a better impact than before, Papua will be more advanced and the people will be more prosperous," continued Awom.
In addition, Awom also hopes that in the future the provincial and regional governments in Tanah Papua should be more serious in overseeing the management of the Special Autonomy funds so that they can have a maximum impact.
As a Youth Leader, he also invites all Papuan people, especially in Manokwari Regency to jointly support the sustainability of Otsus in order to maximize progress and prosperity in the Land of Papua. "Let's support the continuation of Otsus, for a developed and prosperous Papua," concluded Awom.
