Special Autonomy (Otsus) for the Provinces of Papua and West Papua is a special authority given by the government to regulate and manage the interests of the Papuan people based on their rights.
The existence of Otsus is considered to be able to provide a welfare for Papuans, as evidenced by the many supports that continue to be echoed for the sake of creating Otsus Volume 2.
Otis Howay, Head of the Nudantara Guard Youth Front / IBRA Sorong City also gave his support for the sustainability of the Otsus. "The Sorong City IBRA consistently supports the government's program for the progress of Papua, so this Special Autonomy must be continued," he said.
In addition to supporting the Sustainability of Special Autonomy, Otis also stated that he supports the expansion of the new autonomous regions in Papua to accelerate the progress of Papua. "The expansion in Papua, can accelerate progress so that it can compete with other regions," he continued.
As Chair of IBRA, he invited all elements of the Papuan community, especially in the city of Sorong, to support the sustainability of Special Autonomy and the expansion and support of all government policies for the progress of the Land of Papua.
