TNI Sends Medical Device Aid to Papua




The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) continues to help deal with Covid-19 in a number of areas, including Papua.

By using the Boeing TNI AU AI 7303 aircraft crewed by Major Pnb Dani, the TNI sent a number of aids in the form of medical devices that were dispatched from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, East Jakarta, Monday (2/8/2021).

Some of the medical devices that were sent to Papua included 50 oxygen cylinders, 150,000 Pcs of medical masks, 1,000 Pcs of PPE, 1,000 Pcs of medical gloves, 20,000 Pcs of Antigen Rapid Test, all from BNPB and 50 Oxygen Concentrators from the Covid-19 Emergency Hospital (RSDC). ) Athlete's House.

The distribution of these medical devices is in accordance with the needs and requests of a number of hospitals in Papua. Later, a number of these medical devices will be used by several hospitals in Papua to help deal with Covid-19.

The delivery of the medical device assistance is in accordance with the provisions of the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 1 of 2021 dated January 6, 2021 concerning the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) to control the spread of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) and TR Panglima TNI Number TR/625/2021 dated July 25 2021 regarding PPKM Micro activities, the TNI will send a number of medical equipment from the BNPB and the Wisma Athlete Hospital.

The aid, which was transported using a Boeing TNI AU AI 7303 aircraft, took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, East Jakarta at 18.00 Wib and will transit at Hasanuddin Air Base Makassar, South Sulawesi before continuing the flight to Silas Papare Air Base Jayapura in the morning.
