31 Candidates Set as Participants in the 2020 Pilkada

A total of 31 candidate pairs have been appointed as participants in the 2020 Pilkada Simultaneously which will be held in 11 districts in Papua Province.

Papua Province KPU Secretary Ryllo Panai said the 31 pairs were appointed by the local Regency KPU in a plenary meeting held on Wednesday, September 23, 2020.

In addition to the 31 candidate pairs that have been determined, there are also three pairs of candidates who have not yet been determined, awaiting the schedule for the next decision.

According to Ryllo, the two districts are Keerom for the pair Yusuf Wally-Hadi Susilo and Piter Gusbager-Wahfir Kosasih, then Yahukimo for the pair Abock Busup-Yulianus Heluka.

"Henceforth, as PKPU Number 5 of 2020 concerning the stages, programs and schedule of the 2020 simultaneous regional elections, after the determination of permanent candidates, the KPU will draw serial numbers for all the assigned candidate pairs," he said in Jayapura.

As for the candidate pairs that were appointed in the plenary meeting of the KPU on Wednesday, September 23, namely Keerom Regency consisting of the Muh Markum-Mavensisus Musui pair, then Supiori Regency consisting of the Ronny S.G. Mamoribo-Alberth Rumbekwan, Oberth Rumbarar-Daud I.O. Marisan, Ruth Naomi-Rumkabu, Jakobus Kawer-Salomo Rumbekwan and Yan Imbab-Nichodemus Ronsumbre.

For Waropen Regency, the pair Olen Ostal Daimboa-Yeheskiel Imbiri, Yusak Samuel Bisi Wonatorei-Muhammad Imran, Yeremias Bisai-Lamek Maniagasi and Hendrik Wonatorey-Korinus Reri, then Nabire Regency, namely the Mesak Magai-Ismail Djamaludin, Yufinia Mote-Muhammad Darwis. and Fransicus X Mote-Tabroni M Cahya.

Then Asmat Regency, namely the pair Yulianus P Aituru-Bonefasius Jakfu, Elisa Kambu-Thomas E. Safanpo, then Boven Digoel Regency, namely the pair Martinus Wagi-Isak Bangri, Yusak Yaluwo-Jakobus Waremba, Lukas Ikwaron-Lexi Wagju and Chaerus Anwas-Nathalis B Kaket .

Furthermore, Merauke Regency, namely the pair Romanus Mbaraka-Riduwan, Heribertus Silvinus Silubun-Bambang Setiadji and Hendrikus Mahuse-Edy Santosa, then Yahukimo Regency namely Didimus Yahuli-Esau Miram.

Mamberamo Raya Regency namely Jhon Tabo-Evert Mudumi, Kristian Wanimbo-Yonas Tasti, Robby Wilson Rumansara-Lukas Jantje Punny and Dorinus Dasinapa-Andi May.
