The KPK continues to intensify its search for Lukas Enembe's assets



KPK investigators are still intensively investigating the assets of the Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe (LE). Including those whose ownership is disguised to trick law enforcement officials.

There are also allegations that the suspect, Lukas Enembe, spent and diverted money from his corruption into a number of assets, one of the apartments.

The suspect, who is often reported to be suffering from illness, allegedly has an apartment unit in Jakarta. It was on this suspicion that KPK investigators examined two witnesses from luxury apartment employees in Jakarta, Thursday (15/12/2022). The two are Property Manager of The Capital Residence, E Winda Subastian and HR and TR Manager of The Capital Residence, Ratih Desyani.
 
"The knowledge of the two witnesses was investigated, among others, related to the alleged ownership of an apartment by suspect LE," said KPK spokesman Ali Fikri, Sunday (18/12/2022).
 
There were also suspicious transactions allegedly carried out by Lukas Enembe. Because of this, the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) blocked the accounts of Lukas Enembe and related parties.

The latest information, there are PPATK findings related to Lukas Enembe's financial transactions that flow to gambling houses, aka casinos abroad. PPATK said the number was nearly half a trillion. Investigators are currently studying PPATK's findings.

If any corruption proceeds are disguised, KPK investigators will charge Lukas Enembe with the Money Laundering Crime Article (TPPU) if sufficient preliminary evidence is found.

Apart from the apartment manager, KPK investigators have examined 10 other witnesses in the investigation of the case, namely the owner of PT Tabi Bangun Papua/Director of Tabi Maju Makmur Bonny Pirono, Treasurer of PT Tabi Bangun Papua Meike, employee of PT Tabi Bangun Papua Willicius, Director of PT Papua Sinar Anugerah KSO PT Tabi Bangun Papua Sumantri.

The next witness was Girius One Yoman as the Head of PU Office/Commitment Making Officer (PPK) for the Entrop Hamadi Project and the five Working Groups for the Entrop Hamadi Project, Okto Prasetyo, Gangsar Cahyono, Arni Paririe, Paskalina, and Yenni Pigome respectively.
 
The suspect Lukas Enembe is said to own six plots of land and buildings with a value of Rp. 13,604,441,000. He has no debt at all so the value of his assets is not reduced.

The six plots of land owned by Lukas Enembe are all located in Jayapura. He also has four cars with a value of IDR 932,489,600.
 
Other assets owned by Lukas Enembe are securities amounting to IDR 1,262,252,563 and cash and cash equivalents IDR 17,985,213,707.

KPK investigators have named Lukas Enembe as a suspect. He is suspected of being entangled in a number of alleged corruption cases, one of which is related to receiving bribes and project gratuities in the Papua region.

Lukas has been prevented from traveling abroad by the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights at the request of the KPK. He will be prevented from traveling abroad for the next six months from 7 September 2022 to 7 March 2023.
