Investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) have scheduled a medical examination of the Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe, this Thursday (3/11).
According to CNNIndonesia.com monitoring, KPK Chair Firli Bahuri along with KPK investigators and doctors were present at the Cendrawasih Hall of the Papua Regional Police on Thursday at around 12.00 WIT.
They held closed meetings with the Papuan Police Chief, the Cendrawasih Regional Military Commander, and the Papuan District Head. The meeting lasted about 45 minutes.
After that, they departed from the Papua Regional Police office at around 12.45 WIT for the residence of Lukas Enembe in Koya, Jayapura.
Firli and his staff, the Papuan Police Chief, the Cendrawasih Regional Military Commander, and the Papuan District Headquarters went to Koya using two minibuses. Two black suitcases were also carried.
No statement was made by Firli or other officials after holding the meeting. They left immediately.
Previously, the KPK named Lukas Enembe as a suspect in the gratification case. However, Lukas has not fulfilled the KPK's summons to date.
Luke's legal team said his client was sick. They even asked for permission to take Lukas abroad to get treatment.
