As many as 254 village heads (village heads) in Biak Numfor, Papua, received lessons on anti-corruption so that they are more disciplined in using village funds, said Deputy Regent of Biak Numfor Calvin Mansnembra, Tuesday.
On the sidelines of the opening of the anti-corruption community capacity building event, Deputy Regent Calvin Mansnembra hopes that increasing the capacity of anti-corruption learning community development (MPAK) for village heads and district heads can increase knowledge of managing village funds in their villages.
Deputy Regent Calvin emphasized that managing village funds as state money must be clean, transparent, and not misuse these funds for personal gain.
Through strengthening MPAK capacity, he hopes village heads can gain knowledge on preventing corruption from resource persons.

"Village head participants to become anti-corruption pioneers through anti-corruption development in the local village," he said.
He also hopes that village heads can build awareness so that they play an active role in efforts to eradicate corruption in the work environment.
"When the village head disobeys the rules that apply in managing his village funds, one day he may face law enforcement," said Biak Deputy Regent Calvin.
The event to strengthen the capacity of the anti-corruption learning community with speakers from BPKP Papua was held in collaboration with the Biak Numfor Regency Government which was attended by the Head of BPKP Papua Representative Tri Wibowo Aji.
