The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned two witnesses in the investigation into cases of alleged bribery and gratuities related to work or projects originating from the APBD of Papua Province.
The two witnesses are employees of PT Anugrah Valasindo Kriswanto and employees of PT Mulia Multi Remittance/Mulia Multi Valas Roby. Both are scheduled to be examined for the suspect Papua Governor Lukas Enembe (LE).
"Today's examination of witnesses for suspect LE. Examination at the KPK's Red and White Building, Jakarta," said KPK Head of Reporting Section Ali Fikri in Jakarta, Tuesday.
The KPK has yet to officially announce the status of the suspect, Lukas Enembe. Regarding the publication of case construction and parties who have been designated as suspects, it will be carried out when forced efforts have been made to either arrest or detain the suspect.
During the investigation into the case, the KPK investigators team summoned Lukas Enembe for questioning purposes in his capacity as a witness at the Papua Mobile Brigade Command Headquarters, Monday (12/9). However, Lukas Enembe was not present.
Next, the KPK has also summoned Lukas Enembe to be questioned as a suspect at the KPK's Red and White Building, Jakarta, Monday (26/9). However, the person concerned also did not attend due to illness and submitted a letter for treatment to Singapore.
The KPK investigation team also met Lukas Enembe at his residence, Jayapura City, Papua, Thursday (3/11). for examining cases.
In addition, a team consisting of KPK doctors and the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) also met Lukas Enembe for a medical examination.
The KPK has also seized various pieces of evidence in the investigation into the Lukas Enembe case. Finally, the KPK seized documents related to the case, electronic evidence, financial records, cash in rupiah and gold bars from searches of two locations in Jakarta, namely Lukas Enembe's house and an apartment.
