PPATK Submits Findings of Luke Enembe's Money Flow to KPK

The Center for Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis (PPATK) is reluctant to disclose the findings of the strange flow of financial transactions in the account of the Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe (LE). PPATK confirmed that the findings and analysis of Lukas Enembe's account had been submitted to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

"The results of the analysis carried out by PPATK have been submitted to the KPK. Where and how many I can't say," said PPATK's Head of Public Relations, M Natsir Kongah when confirmed, Friday (16/9/2022).

Meanwhile, the Head of PPATK, Ivan Yustiavandana, admitted that he was quite intensive in coordinating with the KPK. Ivan ensures that every transaction in Lukas Enembe's account will be investigated. Including, the alleged flow of money to online gambling houses aka casinos abroad.

"Yes, we are coordinating very intensely with the KPK. We are investigating all the transactions of the parties," said Ivan, confirmed separately.

Previously, the Deputy Chairman of the KPK, Alexander Marwata, claimed to have received information that Lukas Enembe's money was alleged to have flowed into gambling houses or casinos abroad. The KPK will explore this information during the witness examination process.

"Then, whether it is also related to money laundering offenses gambling, of course later it will be further explored in the investigation process," said Alexander Marwata, Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

"To what extent, whether the accounts in question, the flow of funds from the person concerned, whether there is a flow of funds that reaches the gambling house, for example, yes, that's of course the information that will certainly be explored in the investigation process," he added.

For your information, the KPK has named the Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe as a suspect. Based on the information gathered, the Democrat Party politician is suspected of having received bribes and gratuities related to projects in the Papua area.
Unfortunately, the KPK has not disclosed in detail the construction of the case that ensnared Lukas Enembe. This is because the KPK has not yet carried out the process of arresting and detaining Lukas Enembe.

Lukas has been prevented from traveling abroad by the Directorate General (DG) of Immigration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) at the request of the KPK. He was prevented from traveling abroad for the next six months from September 7, 2022 to March 7, 2023.

Not only that, PPATK has also blocked accounts belonging to Lukas Enembe and related parties. The blocking was carried out because the PPATK found that there was an odd or suspicious financial transaction.
