The City Government (Pemkot) of Jayapura, Papua Province held a digital-based learning facilitator training for State Civil Apparatus or ASN including elementary, junior high and high school/vocational school teachers in the region.
Jayapura City's Acting Regional Secretary Robby Awi in Jayapura, Monday, said that in addition to training digital learning facilitators for ASN and teachers, his party also provides training for junior network administrators and junior graphic design.
"So we are working with the Central Communications and Information Ministry's Education and Training Center to provide training for ASN in conducting digital-based future work programs," he said when opening the digital learning training, Monday.
According to Robby, the training for digital learning facilitators, junior network administrators and junior graphic design is in line with the Jayapura City Government's goal that in the future all government administration will be digital-based.
"So we hope that the training participants, which are planned to last for a week, will be able to apply them to each Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD)," he said.
He explained that the training was in order to support government administration services, especially to serve the community in Jayapura City.
The collaboration between the Jayapura City Government through the Personnel, Education and Training Agency with the Central Ministry of Communication and Informatics Training Center in providing training to ASN and teachers will last for the next three years.
Meanwhile, Widyaswara Young Expert Deputy Kapokja Government Transformation Academy (GTA) RI Kominfo Yuliar Magdalena Zega said that his party provided teaching staff who previously provided learning workshops for prospective teachers.
"The material that will be given to participants is also up to date (latest) and for participants who pass we will give certificates," he said.
He added that his party hoped that the ASN at the Jayapura City Government would be more proficient in the use of information and communication technology
"So that public services that are transparent, clean and free from Collusion and Nepotism (KKN) can be achieved," he said.
Digital learning, junior network administrator and junior graphic design in order to implement Government Regulation Number 82 of 2018 concerning digital-based government administration.
Meanwhile, for the training participants, there are 160 people which include ASN and teachers in Jayapura City where 100 teaching staff or teachers attend Digital Learning Facilitator (FPD) training and 30 Jayapura City ASNs each participate in Junior Network Administrator (JNA) and Junior Graphic Design (JGD).
