Biak Numfor Education and Culture Office appoints nine teachers to become new school principals

The Department of Education and Culture (Disdikbud) of Biak Numfor Regency, Papua, has appointed nine teachers as the new principals to support the teaching and learning process of students in local schools.

"There are eight elementary school principals and one Acting Head of SMP Angkasa Lanud Manuhua Biak based on a memorandum of assignment from the education office to carry out student learning programs," said Acting Head of Biak Disdikbud Numfor Yoel O.Maryen after leading the handover of the positions of nine school principals in Biak, Wednesday.

Yoel hopes that the new elementary and junior high school principals who have received an official memorandum of assignment from the Biak Numfor Regency Government will be able to carry out their duties well.

The presence of the new principal, according to the Head of Education Office, Yoel, plays a very important role in carrying out the teaching and learning process of students to achieve learning objectives.

"Invite all existing teachers to help each other in carrying out the teaching and learning process for students at school," he hoped.

Yoel admitted that even though he is in the capacity of implementing the duties of a principal, the rights and obligations are the same as those of a definitive official.

Yoel reminded new school principals to be good leaders to carry out the government's mandate in realizing national education goals.

"Give the best service and dedication to students and teachers in order to achieve the learning goals of students who are healthy, intelligent and have noble character," Yoel hoped.

The eight Acting Principals of the Elementary School are Hosea Mansnembra, Acting Principal of YPK Samber; Corina Arwam, Principal of SD YPK Maryendi; Tatik Handayani, Principal of SD Angkasa Lanud Manuhua; David Fairyo Principal of SD YPK Bosnik.

And Agustina SD Negeri 2 Samofa; Prace Awom Principal of YPK Elementary School Baruki Numfor Barat; Decky Kafiar Principal of SD Inpres Maneru; Yohanes Kafiar, Principal of SD Negeri Saukobye and Mulyani M.Pd as Acting Principal of SMP Angkasa Lanud Manuhua.
