He said, UNICEF supports the fulfillment of children's rights in Paniai District, with the start of this partnership.

“We ensure that children will benefit from an educational and growing environment that is safe, more protective and more child-friendly. Because it coincides with National Children's Day, we can say that the signing of this commitment is one of the gifts for the children in Paniai," he said.

The Regent of Paniai, Meki Nawipa, said he was very happy to see the children in his area very active.

“This indicates that there is still hope for the future of Papua and Indonesia to be more advanced. Let's use this momentum to make Paniai child-worthy. We make the children remember how precious this day is,” said Meki Nawipa.

Just to note, since the end of 2021, UNICEF has been supporting Paniai Regency to improve basic services, such as early childhood education and health.
