The chief of a large tribe from Jayapura City (Port Numbay) especially Skouw, namely Abisai Rollo said he would establish or build a racing circuit in Wiliyah Koya, Muara Tami District, Jayapura City, Papua.
This is as stated by Abisai Rollo (ABR) after being elected as General Chair of the Indonesian Motorcycle Association (IMI) Papua for the 2022-2026 period replacing Yan Mandenas in the VII IMI Papua Deliberation which took place in Jayapura City, Friday 20 May 2022.
The construction of the circuit, continued Rollo, is expected to provide space for the younger generation of Papuans who have talent in the field of motorcycle racing.
According to him, talent in Papua can develop when it has room for talent development. It is possible, they can compete at the national level.
"The position of Ketum IMI Papua is not for me personally, but for everyone. For that let's join hands so that IMI Papua remains victorious and successful, more specifically in preparing the younger generation to welcome upcoming events, both in Papua and at the local level. nationally," said ABR, Abisai Rollo's nickname.
As the General Chair of IMI Papua, Abisai's initial target was to prepare athletes for the implementation of the PON in North Sumatra Province which is planned to be held in 2024.
"We (IMI Papua) will prepare ourselves to welcome the PON Sumatra from now on," he explained.
Just to know that in 2019, Abisai Rollo as the Chief of the Skouw Tribe was trending because he offered the Indonesian government an area of 2 hectares for the construction of a presidential palace in Jayapura City.
