Seeing the extraordinary business and investment potential in Papua, Kadi Papua attended a Business Forum meeting with several Czech investors, the meeting of "The Czech-Indonesian Business Forum" is very important because in this forum the Czech and Indonesian governments bring together investors from various fields to introduce each other all fields of business.

Chairman of Kadin Papua, Ronald Antonio, said that he had started an initial agreement with European investors through business-to-business negotiations with Jakup Fiala, a coffee importer in the Czech Republic who usually buys coffee from coffee-producing countries and then markets it in the Czech and European regions.

"We have met and negotiated with encouraging results, European importers are interested in Papuan coffee, and on that occasion they immediately ordered several types of coffee as a trial business agreement," he explained.

"Kadin will continue to synergize with the Papua Provincial Government in the economic field, Kadin as a partner will carry out its duties to find and open investment roads in Papua," he explained.

This is an opportunity and must continue to be proactive, even though coffee from Indonesia is not a new product for them, the Papuan coffee business opportunities in the Czech Republic and even Central Europe are still very open and promising.

"Our goal is to find markets in Eastern Europe, and through this business forum we will meet coffee business actors with whom we can work together, not only sellers and buyers but also in terms of cooperation in the transfer of knowledge and coffee farming technology, starting from upstream. to the downstream," said Ronald.

The chairman of Kadin, who has only been around for five months, managed to convince the Czech importers and immediately placed an initial order as a form of trust and tested the quality of the coffee offered. And delivery plans start next month.

"If you want to export from Papua, it is advisable to choose according to the grade they want and really the best coffee beans that enter grade A," he explained.

The initial step taken by Kadin Papua will be to immediately communicate with the community and Kadin partners engaged in coffee production to fulfill this order.
And from the business-to-business negotiations carried out yesterday, Kadin Papua also received offers of other requests such as durian, chili and other crops.

This business forum, in addition to strengthening bilateral relations through a virtual business forum organized by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) and the Czech Chamber of Commerce, facilitated by the Indonesian Embassy in the Czech Republic, is also a forum for various companies to establish relationships and conduct business-to-business negotiations.

Ekaningsih, the Indonesian Ambassador to the Czech Republic, who facilitated this Business Forum and B to B negotiations, so that we had the opportunity to have business partners in the Czech Republic and Europe," said Ronal who was accompanied by WKU Kadi Papua Leo Dapot Siahaan.

Jakub Fiala, a major coffee distributor in Europe, further explained that Indonesian coffee commodities, especially Papua, have the opportunity to expand exports to the Czech Republic and also Europe, because the variety of tastes and aromas of Papuan coffee, one of which is coffee, makes this commodity have a bright future in the European region. .
