The Central Statistics Agency is ready to release the results of the Jayapura Regency data update in Figures, which is part of the Jayapura Regency Data One next month. The data collection is very helpful for the government in planning and taking development policies in the regions.

"The data can be seen on the website bps.go.id, but it is still incomplete. Before April, it will be completed again, "said Jayapura Regency Statistics Agency (BPS) Head Jeffry de Fretes, Thursday (5/3/2020).

Jeffry said that the final data could no longer be reduced or added up. Everything has been sourced from official government data collection.

"The number of teachers who are civil servants has not changed, but the number of students in each school changes every year. Without accurate data, it is difficult for the government to develop and run regional development programs, "explained Jeffry.

Regent Mathius Awoitauw has instructed his staff to help the Jayapura Regency BPS task. They must provide complete and valid data on work programs and development achievements in Jayapura Regency.

"Statistical data is needed to measure performance so far. If there are (performance) that is lacking and decreasing, it must be corrected in the future, "said Awoitauw, some time ago.
