In a unilateral statement published by one of the separatist organizations (KNPB), Shepherd Elias Kalakmabin was reported missing due to repressive actions by security forces in the Serembakon District, Bintang Mountains Regency.
However, the news of the disappearance of a religious figure was denied by DK, who is a resident of Serambakon District, according to him Elias Kalakmabin was at a relative's house.

It is known previously that DK refused to provide information regarding the news of Elias Kalakmabin. In his reasoning, DK admitted that he had received threats from separatist groups who were still occasionally seen in the Serambakon District.
According to the DK, the untrue news regarding the shooting of Shepherd Elias Kalakmabin is one of the propaganda carried out by the separatist group to destabilize the situation in the Bintang Mountains Regency.
"Previously, there were many acts of disturbance by separatist groups, until finally the TNI-Polri apparatus were able to restore the situation. So there is a high possibility that the separatist groups will want to carry out their barbaric actions again after this,"
As a local resident, DK feels very angry with the disturbance actions carried out by the separatist group. DK said the influence of the previous untrue news would create unrest for the public.
"When it comes to separatism, people will definitely feel scared. After this, each of us here must be worried about the security situation. In the end, we are also the ones who are harmed,"
