Atanay said, PKH is a program of providing social assistance to poor families who are designated as Beneficiary Families (KPM) as an instrument to improve the welfare of the less poor.

"This KPM is intended for poor families to gain access and take advantage of basic social services in health, education, food and nutrition, care and assistance," said Atanay.

According to Atanay, according to the Minister of Finance Regulation No. 190, namely the KPM, 40 percent is set aside from the total village fund budget distributed in villages.

"We still have to make sure again, whether this 40 percent has been allocated by the villages based on the existing village RAPB. So, we make sure that as much as 40 percent of the data collection has been done for KPM, if it hasn't been achieved, we will find a way so that 40 percent is actually achieved," said Atanay.

Anatay added, if this is not achieved, the Jayapura City DPMK still has to coordinate with the Central Government. For example, 100 families (heads of families) had to get KPM but in fact only 80 families were achieved so that the remaining 20 percent should be utilized.

"We have to consult this policy again with the Central Government so that the funds distributed in the villages according to programs and activities are actually managed in a transparent, efficient, accountable and targeted manner," said Atanay.

Deputy Mayor of Jayapura, Rustan Saru said, KMP is an aid that provides significant success in improving the quality of life of the poor as a social safety net to the government through the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs.

“KPM is a program sector leading entity that aims to expand the target and index of social assistance. The need for synergy and joint commitment in order to be able to back up program participation that has not been covered by the social protection program.
