Such was the firm statement of Brento Brilyan Müller as Chair of the Indonesian Christian Student Movement (GMKI) Fakfak regarding his support for the sustainability of Otsus Papua.
"The special autonomy program has had a good impact on the villages, especially those who cannot afford to send their children to school, with the special autonomy program they are certainly more helpful and life becomes easier through the use of the special autonomy budget in their respective villages," said Brento.
“We see that the implementation of the Special Autonomy Law can be said to be successful. Plus the involvement of indigenous people or Papuan Orang Asli (OAP) politicians in providing ideas, proposals and suggestions,” added Brento.
Brento stated that if there is a program or policy that clearly has a good impact on the community, of course Brento as the leader of the youth movement will support the program.
