The West Papua National Liberation Army-Free Papua Organization (TPNPB-OPM) admitted to killing two PT IndoPapua workers on the Brazza River, Yahukimo, Papua. Both victims were bridge project workers.
Spokesperson for TPNPB-OPM, Sebby Sambom, admitted that the killing was carried out because his party had previously warned that civilians and immigrants would immediately leave the war zone in Yahukimo, Papua.
TPNPB-OPM has twice issued warnings so that civilians and immigrants immediately leave the TPNPB-OPM war area with the TNI-Polri. Anyone who enters a war zone, said Sebby, will be declared part of the TNI-Polri.
However, immigrant residents still carry out their activities in the war zone, including Yahukimo, so the workers are all considered members of the TNI-Polri disguised as builders and others. So it deserves to be killed,
The authorities will not remain silent and will investigate thoroughly according to the legal procedure for the perpetrators of this massacre of PT Indopapua workers.
