Three terrorist members of the Free Papua Organization (OPM) did not move when they were arrested by TNI-Polri personnel who were members of the Nemangkawi Task Force.
The three people are Gumanggup Enumbi alias GE, Mogi Enumbi (ME) and Male Telenggen (MT).
The commander of the Nemangkawi Task Force, Kombes M Iqbal Alqudusy, said in a written statement on Monday (12/7) that the three were arrested during an examination at the Pintu Jawa Kindergarten, Puncak Regency, Papua.
"Based on information from Task Force Elang II that the stone burning event in Ninggilome Village, Magaibume District, Puncak Regency, in the context of the inauguration of the church will be attended by several leaders of the OPM terrorist group," said Iqbal.
Armed with this information, the YR 715/Mtl Task Force Commander has ordered the personnel of TK Pintu Jawa to inspect all passing vehicles.
In that effort, officers tried to shut down the movement of the OPM separatist group from the direction of Mulya in Puncak Jaya Regency.
They were prevented from going to Ninggilome Village, Magaibume District, Puncak Regency.
Gumanggup Enumbi alias GE was included in the wanted list (DPO) by the Nemangkawi Task Force.
Meanwhile, two other people who were caught with him are being investigated for their background.
Both Gemanggup Enumbi and his two colleagues came from the same area, namely Yambi Village, Yambi District.
