So far, Otsus has really helped the community to get public facilities such as education, health and access to hard-to-reach places. The central government plans to continue Otsus Volume II to continue the welfare of the Papuan people. Hery Rumbin as a member of the West Papua MRP gave his support for the sustainability of Special Autonomy Volume II.
"I strongly support the sustainability of Special Autonomy Volume II in the Land of Papua because it is a form of the central government's attention to the indigenous Papuan people to develop the Land of Papua for the better," he explained.
"I hope that the central government can evaluate Otsus so that in the future it can better reach people in remote areas, also with changes to increase development in the Land of Papua, which is certainly very pro-Papuan indigenous people," he continued.
"I also appeal to all people to support the sustainability of Special Autonomy Volume II for the betterment of the Land of Papua for the indigenous people of Papua," he concluded.
