Samuel Nusi, Head of Public Relations at PPP Mimika, said that his party discussed the needs of journalists during coverage, such as measurable sports training for journalists, equipment needed by journalists during coverage and supporting infrastructure at the Media Center.
"Certainly there will be several needs in the media center, so that good service can be provided to journalists who come to cover PON in Mimika," said Nussy.
The meeting, which was attended by media leaders in Timika, produced a number of important things that would be conveyed to PB PON XX Papua to be followed up.
"One of the most urgent needs is the provision of internet with a large capacity in order to support the performance of journalists when importing or sending coverage data.
This working mechanism, we will soon hold meetings related to the mechanism during the implementation of PON, we do not know clearly, therefore we will wait and discuss that we need this, so that the mechanism in the media center, "said Nussy while chairing the meeting on the floor. two offices of KONI Mimika, Friday (19/3).
According to Nussy, his party will review the media center in order to find out what is needed by the media center. In addition, there needs to be training to improve performance in the media center.
"This training requires deepening of the material for measured sports, because at the PON there will be measured sports branches that will be competed in the Mimika cluster," he explained.
