Rev. Elisa Worabay (Kp. Sima's religious leader) supports the sustainability of Otsus Papua and the establishment of the New Autonomous Region (DOB) in Papua Province.
"Positive steps that we are taking include supporting the sustainability of Otsus Volume II and coordinating with the government and stockholders to continue the sustainability of Otsus Volume II," he said.
Meanwhile, Rev. Elisa conveyed the need for evaluation and supervision in the future management of Otsus funds, so that the state would not lose out on huge costs for the development of Papua but only a handful of people would enjoy it.
“The plan for establishing new autonomous regions is indeed necessary for equitable development in the Province of Prov. Papua so that the very large area of Papua can be divided with several provincial governments who will manage the area," he said.
