This was stated by the Chief of the Dani Tribe, Puncak Ilaga Regency, Papua, Jembatan Murib. He asked the people to stick to the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). "I am Jembatan Murib as the Chief of the Dani Tribe of Puncak Ilaga Regency, asking the community to stick to the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia," said Jembatan Murib.

Separately, the Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly Bambang Soesatyo (Bamsoet) asked the TNI-Polri to increase security in Papua. This is because the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) continues to give fear to the public.
"Requesting the government and local governments together with the TNI-Polri to strengthen defense and security in areas prone to KKSB disturbances, especially in vital objects by narrowing the KKSB's space for movement, and cutting off communication and supply lines for KKSB needs, considering that throughout 2021 criminal acts were carried out by KKSB. it has happened a lot, "said Bamsoet in his statement.
Meanwhile, Papua Police Chief Inspector General Mathius D Fakhiri emphasized that the TNI-Polri is a symbol of the form of the state being present in maintaining security and peace in Papua.
Therefore, Fakhiri confirmed, his staff would take firm action against the KKB which often provided threats and terror in the community. "The TNI and Polri are here to ensure that the state is present at Intan Jaya to enforce the law against anyone who violates the law," said Inspector General Fakhiri.
