Kurulu Marius Marian as a member of the Red and White Front as well as a community leader (Tomas) in the city of Wamena, Jayawijaya Regency, Papua expressed his gratitude to the TNI-Polri security apparatus for maintaining security and peace in the local area.
According to him, several series of actions have disrupted the situation of security and public order (Kamtibmas) in Wamena City recently, but thanks to good cooperation between the TNI-POLRI, it has resulted in peace and comfort in the community to this day.
He also appealed to the people of Wamena to cultivate and maintain tolerance for the sake of maintaining peace in the city of Wamena.
"Let us maintain harmony with each other for the realization of the Papua Province, especially the city of Wamena, which is safe and peaceful," Marius told reporters in Wamena.
Asked about the rolling out of Special Autonomy (Otsus) for Papua Volume 2, one of the community leaders in Wamena firmly stated his support to keep it rolling again.
"We fully support the continuation of Otsus, namely Volume II, with a note that its implementation must be evaluated for the better for the welfare of the Papuan people," he said.
He added that if you reflect on the previous Otsus, even though the implementation has not been optimal, it is very helpful for the welfare of the people in Papua.
