Zakamin Village Head, Arwanof Thomas Omaleng, Tembagapura District, said that his party agreed with the resumption of Special Autonomy (Otsus) Volume II and optimizing the empowerment of village funds.
"I agree and continue with the Special Autonomy Fund Volume II and optimization of the empowerment of village funds in Papua Province," said Thomas.
The government is expected to provide socialization about Otsus funds to the public, because there are still many people who do not understand about Otsus.
"In the future, the government will also provide understanding / socialization about the special autonomy funds to the community, because there are still many village people, especially Zakamin Arwanof Village, who do not know about the special autonomy funds and we only know about village funds," he added.
He hopes that later the government will be more transparent in distributing the special autonomy funds.
