John assessed that basically the philosophical foundation of Otsus is very good, it only needs to be evaluated in order to achieve people's welfare.
"The basic intentions are good, it's just that the implementation must be evaluated a lot," said John.
He also hopes that in the future Otsus will be able to minimize economic disparities and development in Papua, not only benefiting a few parties.
"With Otsus we are able to minimize economic and development gaps in Papua, it is not only beneficial for some parties to be evenly distributed to the small community," he added.
Meanwhile, Frans Maniagasi (Papua Senior Figure) also has the same opinion. According to him, the view of Otsus must be changed so that it can be carried out well.
"Two provinces in Papua have reached IDR 62 trillion, they should be able to prosper. Nearly 95% of all Papuan positions are occupied by local men themselves, but Papua has not progressed until now. What's the matter, let's be honest, "said Frans Maniagasi.
In addition, Mamat Alkatiri (Comicus from Papua) suggested that all stakeholders who are responsible for the welfare of Papua are open to each other and have the courage to open themselves to dialogue with one another.
"Dialogue is the key, in the name of justice, the state must dare to invite Papuans to speak, especially in relation to the reconstruction of Special Autonomy so that the welfare of the Papuan people will soon be realized," said Mamat.
