Head of Jayapura District Health Office, Khairul Lie said, during the COVID-19 pandemic, health services in the rural and remote areas of Jayapura Regency continued to run normally using the usual health protocols and were not affected by the corona virus.

Khairul said, to support health services in the interior and outskirts of the Jayapura Regency health service also continued to apply health protocols in its services.

However, for the hinterland, the protective equipment itself only uses level 1 or level 2 special series of urban areas that have been exposed to COVID-19 using level 3 personal protective equipment.

"Level three for dealing with patients who have been confirmed covid 19," he explained.

He added, in addition to personal protective equipment that was distributed medicines to support health services in the suburbs and inland in the Jayapura district area also proceeded normally as usual.

"The availability of medicines in the regions, as usual, there are no obstacles. Distribution is the same," he added.
