KKSB Papua Members Hand Over Senpi and Declare Back to NKRI |
A member of the Papuan armed separatist criminal group (KKSB), Tendison Enumbi, handed over the Baretta type of pistol and 5 bullets to the country. The surrender of weapons was held at an official ceremony.
The handover ceremony was held at the Kota Baru Square, Mulia, Puncak Jaya Regency, Monday (6/22/2020). Puncak Jaya Regent, Yuni Wonda, who led the ceremony received the weapon.
The ceremony was also attended by the Chairperson of Puncak Jaya Regency DPRD, Zakarias Telenggen; TNI-Polri; ASN; Organizations, leaders of the Church's Denominations, and the Noble community. The short barrel Senpi with a black barrel with 5 bullets was handed over by Tendison Enumbi's representative, namely Koti Weya who is a member of the DPRD Dapil Mewoluk. Later the Regent will submit to the state through the Dandim 1714 / PJ, Lt. Col. Inf Agus Sunaryo and Puncak Jaya Police Chief, AKBP Mikael Suradal.
Currently, Tendison Enumbi as the owner of the senpi is still being treated at the Mulia Hospital due to the gunshot incident when he was about to hand over the senpi directly to the Dandim 1714 / PJ on Friday (6/19). Tendison Enumbi has also stated to surrender himself to join the Unitary Republic of Indonesia.
Regent Yuni Wonda, said that Tendison Enumbi, a member of the KSB in Puncak Jaya District, handed over weapons and said that he joined NKRI with his own awareness.
"We are very sorry brother Tendison had to have an accident (fall) when he was going to surrender, causing the weapon to explode and hit himself and had to be referred to the hospital because he was hit by a bullet," he said.
The Regent hoped that other KSB members could follow in the footsteps of Tendison Enumbi who had good intentions and intention to return to the Republic of Indonesia.
"This can happen thanks to the approach and communication that we have built so far so that the community can build trust in the government," said Yuni Wonda.
