The Indonesian National Youth Committee (KNPI) of West Papua Province will launch a Youth Pilot Plant in Klamunu Village, Mariat District, Sorong Regency, West Papua Province. This launch is part of Youth's commitment to encourage the "Ko Stay in the Garden" program.

Said Sorong Raya Regional Korwil, DPD KNPI West Papua, Raymond Karubaba, when distributing seeds to farmers in Sorong Regency, Thursday (5/21/2020).

"Chairman of the West Papua KNPI, Sius Dowansiba is ready to help agricultural machines in the form of Mini Hand Tractors, Corn Rice and Seed Making Machines. This garden will become a place of education for young farmers who want to learn about agriculture, "he explained.

"The launching plan is finished after Eid. This activity was completed by KNPI West Papua and supported by HIPMI West Papua and several lecturers from the Faculty of Agriculture at the Campus in Sorong, "he said

Planted plants, vegetables and corn. Corn as a Priority Food, will later be managed with Agricultural Technology into Corn Rice. The produce will be sold in the market and consumed for local food security, when the National situation applies Lock Dowan.
