Persons with Disabilities Receive Assistance from the Papua Police Chief |
The Nusa Dua Regional Police Safe Task Force provided assistance with 50 food packages to persons with disabilities in a number of areas in Jayapura City, Papua. Residents were grateful and prayed for Papua Police Chief Inspector General Paulus Waterpauw for a long life.
The Satgas Aman Nusa II consists of joint personnel from the Directorate of Binmas and the Public Relations Division of the Papua Regional Police distributing food packages to residents in the Complex behind the Tasangka Bulog Warehouse, Batu Karang Polimak, Genjer Jaya Arsi Polmak and Hamadi Gunung area.
Representative of persons with disabilities, Ms. Ayer expressed her gratitude to the ranks of the Papua Regional Police who have provided this assistance to persons with disabilities on a regular basis. They also felt helped by this food package.
"I, on behalf of my friends with disabilities, would like to thank the Papuan Regional Police who have often paid attention to us here, and greetings to the Papua Regional Police Chief Inspector General Paulus Waterpauw, hopefully he will be given a long life so he can monitor Papua well," he said.
In addition to providing food to people with disabilities, members of the Papua Nusa Tenggara Police Task Force also conveyed an appeal to the community to be able to implement social and physical distancing to prevent transmission of the corona virus.
"To residents of Jayapura City, always wear masks when leaving the house. Prioritize environmental cleanliness and also shelter, so that all can be free of the corona virus," said Brigadier Rio Emanratu to residents while distributing free masks.
