Including for children's learning activities is very difficult to do at night. However, this time is different, children can study at night and parents can also do other activities, weave noken or just accompany their children to learn.

Waley village is one of the villages that receives electricity tubes, out of 146 sets of electricity tubes distributed by PLN for residents' homes, public facilities and security posts. One factor is the geographical conditions that are still not possible for installation of networks and plants.

Electric tubes will be used temporarily, before the electricity grid enters a number of areas in Papua. Spread to five points namely Jayawijaya, Nduga, Lani Jaya, Jayapura and Merauke.

General Manager of the Papua Main Unit of the Papua and West Papua Region J. A. Ari Dartomo said that the installation of electric tubes for the Wamena and Merauke regions, PLN cooperated with Kodam XVII / Cenderawasih. While installation in Jayapura and surrounding areas has been completed.

"The electricity tubes distributed this time are focused on areas on the border with Papua New Guinea. We hope that the lighting assistance can provide benefits to the recipient. Installation of electric tubes will affect the electrification ratio in Papua, "Ari said, Thursday (07/18/2019).

Ari added, the electricity tube work system resembles a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) that uses solar panels that are connected to a power bank or a storage place for power. Later the stored power will be flowed to the three existing light points. Power capable of storing 78 watts peak (WP) and can turn on the lights for about 6 to 10 hours.

"Hopefully this assistance is useful and has more economic value for the recipient. PLN also continues to strive to find the best solution for people who have not been electrified in remote areas. The goal is that all Papuans can enjoy electricity without exception, "he said.
