Nabire Police Department Holds Social Service at the Papua Indonesia Disabled Care Foundation

As a form of caring for fellow disabled people, Nabire Police and his staff held social services by distributing wheelchairs, food, compensation, as well as various competitions for people with disabilities at the Disability Care Foundation of Nabire Regency, Papua.

The aim is nothing but just getting closer as the police with the disabled. With the hope that the disabled people will no longer feel small or inferior to any lack there is in you, we also hope that the disabled people no longer feel afraid and inferior in seeing their abilities and strengths.

"We are very proud and very happy that the Nabire Regional Police have a high level of care and attention for the people of Nabire Regency, especially us as disabled people," said Chairman of the Nabire Regency Disability Concerns Foundation, Yeti Saputri in a written statement received in Jayapura City, Papua.

Initially, he said, people with disabilities felt afraid and were reluctant to have been invited to the Nabire Police Headquarters to meet with police personnel. But everything was not as we expected, the treatment of the police men to us was very good and friendly, because indeed all of us disabled people had never been invited to such activities.

We hope that by caring for the police, we the disabled people can give an example to the government and other institutions so that they can pay more attention to us. Previously, on Friday last week to commemorate Valentine's Day 2020, together with the Nabire people with disabilities, a social service with the theme of Disabled Cares was held at the Nabire Mapolres, Nabire Regency, Papua.
