KPK Allows Lukas Enembe to Seek Treatment in Singapore If These Conditions Are Fulfilled

Lukas Enembe's request to seek treatment in Singapore received the approval of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) appears to have softened regarding the Governor of Papua's desire to seek outpatient treatment.

However, this permission is not unconditional.

The requirement to go to Singapore first begins with treatment at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital in Jakarta.

Then Lukas Enembe received a recommendation from the RSPAD.

These conditions are the conditions for obtaining a KPK permit.

This was conveyed by Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission Alexander Marwata, during the launch of the 2023-2024 Corruption Prevention Action, at Thamrin Nine Ballroom, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (20/12/2022).

Lukas Enembe and several other parties as suspects.

Regarding the construction of the case, the parties named as suspects and the articles suspected will be published, when forced efforts are made, both arrest and detention, against the suspects.

Lukas Enembe was absent from being summoned by the KPK investigators team on Monday (12/9/2022) in his capacity as a witness.

The KPK then summoned Lukas Enembe to be examined as a suspect at the KPK's Red and White Building, Jakarta, Monday (26/9/2022).

Lukas Enembe was absent again citing illness, and submitted a letter for treatment to Singapore.

The KPK investigation team then met Lukas Enembe at his residence in Jayapura City, Papua, Thursday (3/11/2022), in the framework of examining the case.

The team, consisting of KPK doctors and the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI), also met Lukas Enembe for a medical examination.

The KPK also has an inspection report (BAP) from the examination, as one of the formal requirements in handling a case.
