Sorong City Government is given a target of investment realization of Rp493.2 billion



The Sorong City Government was given an investment realization target of IDR 493.2 billion or 18 percent of the target given by the central government to West Papua Province of IDR 2.47 trillion excluding oil and gas.

In order to realize this target, the Sorong City Investment and One Stop Integrated Service (PMPTSP) Office held a socialization and technical guidance on the ease of doing business on Monday.

Assistant for General Administration of the Sorong City Government, Hanok Talla, who opened the activity, said that the socialization and technical guidance were focused on the Online Single Submission - Risk Based Aproach (OSS RBA) System for business actors in the area.

He explained that OSS-RBA is said to be able to expedite the licensing service process for business actors who are also required to innovate towards the digital era.

According to him, President Jokowi in 2022 is targeting the realization of an investment of Rp. 1,200 trillion. From that target, the West Papua provincial government was given a responsibility of Rp2.47 trillion.

"Meanwhile, Sorong City was given a target of IDR 493.2 billion excluding oil and gas," he said.

Head of Licensing at the Investment and One Stop Service Office, Herry Widjasena, who gave a separate statement, said that the realization of the investment targeted by President Joko Widodo was a tactic to increase investment through the potential of natural resources, supporting infrastructure, ease of licensing, tax facilities, and infrastructure. conducive investment climate.
