Babinsa encourages Biak children to learn through the mobile library



Babinsa Koramil 1708-03/Biak Barat innovated in empowering the unity of the TNI with the people through a mobile library as a means of interaction and social communication (SI-KOMOS) in the target area in Andey Village, West Biak District, Biak Numfor Regency, Papua, Saturday.

Members of Babinsa Koramil 1708-03/Biak Barat Srt Filipe Marandof and Praka Elisa Kapisa in a press release received by ANTARA in Jayapura, Saturday, said that the mobile library aims to enable children in the area to continue to learn to read and write.

"This facility is also a creative education system by presenting a happy atmosphere for children during the current pandemic," he said.

He explained that this activity was also to educate children to always be enthusiastic about learning and to remain obedient to health protocols.

"We hope that some of the children will become our successors as members of the TNI," he said.

Meanwhile, one of Wom Sawor's parents said that the role of babinsa in the area is very helpful for children in education

So he expressed his gratitude for Babinsa's continuing to visit and provide education for the children.

"Hopefully, babinsa will continue to visit our village often, because by reading, we can gain a lot of knowledge for our children," he said.
