The leader of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) was arrested by the Nemangkawi Task Force in Yahukimo Regency, Papua, Temianus Magayang.
The arrest of one of the Papuan KKB figures was carried out in Dekai District, Saturday (27/11/2021).
"It is true that there has been an arrest of one of the leaders of the KKB, Temianus Magayang, but there is no complete report yet," said Director of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Papuan Police, Kombes Faizal Ramadhani, via text message on Saturday.
Faizal admitted that he could not provide further information because the team at the location of the arrests was still investigating.
Temianus Magayang is one of the masterminds of various criminal acts in Yahukimo.
He was the one who invited Tendius Gwijangge to come to Yahukimo and perform a series of actions with the Soll Senate.
Meanwhile, Senate Soll died in Jayapura on September 26, 2021 due to a gunshot wound to the leg he suffered when he was arrested in Dekai on September 1, 2021.
Senate Woll is the dismissal of a TNI member who fled to Yahukimo due to his involvement in the sale and purchase of ammunition with KKB in Mimika Regency in 2018.
Meanwhile, Tendius Gwijangge, who is a former subordinate of Egianus Kogoya, the leader of the Nduga KKB, is now in the Suru-Suru District.
Tendius is believed to be the main actor in the attack on the Suru-Suru Preparatory Koramil on Saturday (20/11/2021) morning.
Gunfire had occurred for 6 hours, and as a result of the incident, Sertu Ari Baskoro died.
Meanwhile, the Koramil Commander, Captain Inf. Arviandi, suffered gunshot wounds and stab wounds, and is currently being treated at RST Marthen Indey Jayapura.
