The good relationship established by the Pamrahwan Task Force Yonif RK 751/VJS with the community at the assignment location has so far had a positive impact. Mr. Mom Tabuni as a traditional leader or Ondoafi and several residents of the Popome District carried out a visit to the 751/VJS Task Force Battalion Post in Popome District, Lani Jaya Regency, Papua, Friday (08/10/2021).
Anjangsana activities that are often carried out by the Battalion 751/VJS Task Force so far, seem to have given a positive aura. Usually the Pos Task Force personnel come to meet the Traditional and Community Leaders in the assigned area, but this time it was traditional leaders and a number of Popome District communities who visited the Pamrahwan Task Force Post Yonif RK 751/VJS.
The arrival of the guests was warmly welcomed by all postal personnel, which was directly led by the Postal Commander (Danpos) Popome Letda Inf Bintang. Danpos Popome expressed his gratitude and pride for the presence of Mr. Mom Tabuni as a traditional and community leader at the RK 751/VJS Infantry Battalion Task Force Post.
"My colleagues and I at the post are happy and proud of the presence of the community at the post which aims solely to stay in touch, we hope that this harmonious relationship must be maintained in order to create a safe and peaceful situation," said First Lieutenant Inf Bintang.
The same thing was also expressed by Mr. Mom Tabuni that the Popome community already felt very familiar with the personnel of the Pamrahwan Task Force Post, Battalion RK 751/VJS.
"I as a traditional figure in Popome District are very happy with the 751 soldiers, they are very loved by the community and always help the community when they are in trouble, I hope all the soldiers assigned to Popome are like the 751 soldiers," said Mr Tabuni.
Separately, Dansatgas Pamrahwan Yonif RK 751/VJS Lt. Col. Inf. Dedy Dwi Cahyadi said that the existence of the Task Force which had been running for almost 4 months had already begun to show results.
"Our unit Yonif RK 751/VJS has carried out many territorial development activities, both social communication activities, community service, treatment and anjangsana," he said.
According to the Dansatgas, all of this was done solely to help ease the burden on the community and also to attract public sympathy for the TNI, especially the Task Force Battalion Infantry Battalion RK 751/VJS which is currently carrying out security in vulnerable areas in several districts in Papua Province.
"We hope that until the end of duty, Infantry Battalion RK 751/VJS gets the best title in the eyes of the Papuan people," said Dansatgas.
