"It is true that there are reports of arson actions carried out by the KKB around the Sugapa Airport area, namely the burning of the Airnav Office," said Commander of the 1705/Nabire Kodim, Infantry Lieutenant Colonel Anjuanda Pardosi, as quoted by Antara, Friday (10/29/2021).
There were no casualties in the incident, while Airnav employees have fled to the church.
Before setting fire to the fire, the armed gang had a gunfight with personnel from the Security Task Force for Vulnerable Areas from the 501/BY Infantry Battalion and the Scrub Task Force.
As a result of this urgency, the armed gang set fire to the Airnav Office of Sugapa Airport. "In the last few days, security disturbances carried out by KKB have increased," he said.

Anjuanda said that KKB is in every corner around Sugapa District, causing people, especially those from outside Sugapa, to be afraid and flee to the church.
"Meanwhile, Sugapa residents choose not to move out of their homes because they are afraid," he said.
